Born in Mount Pleasant, Utah March 24, 1942 to Horace and Vanetta Andrews. She married Scott Hassett April 27, 1965 in Manti, Utah LDS Temple. Together they had five children and eighteen grandchildren.
A Cedar City Utah High School, Class of 1960, alumni, she was a Registered Nurse, graduating from Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City in 1963.
