Justin served in WWII as a member of the U.S. Navy, in the Philippines & China. Graduated Manhattan College and New York University with a jurist doctor degree. Preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Jean Daly Tierney; his parents Frank & Margaret Tierney, brother, Francis Tierney & sister, Joan Courtney. Survived by hi sons: Justin, Jr.(Joan), & Douglas(Elizabeth).
4 grandchildren; his sister, Margaret)Peggy) Byme & brother, Kevin Tierney. He worked for Fireman's Fund Insurance for 45 years. In later years, he created a risk management firm in Davis and then taught insurance at CSUS.
