Helen Marcine Martin age 93 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 28, 2018 at her home. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband Leroy Martin, Sr., son Donald G. Martin, granddaughter Jennifer Slanika, father Walter W. Carr, mother Ella Palmer and stepfather Robert Palmer, three brothers and one sister. She is survived by her daughter Judy Martin, sons: Leroy, Jr. (Teresa) Martin, Robert Bob (Diane) Martin, William Bill (Rebecca Becky) Martin, Cecil Cheta (Faye) Martin, David (Debbie Farr; daughter in law Carol Martin, fourteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren, nine great great grandchildren, sisters Carrie Tarwater and Betty Owens, special sister Mildred Carr, special niece Shelia Tarwater and several other nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a heartfelt thanks to Tennova Hospice personnel; Donna, Molly, Lisa and volunteer Terry. Her children shall rise up and call her blessed Proverbs 31:28. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 3, 2018 at ROSE MORTUARY BROADWAY CHAPEL from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. Family and friends will meet Monday, June 4, 2018 at Bookwalter Cemetery at 10:45 am for an 11:00 am graveside service officiated by Pastor John Lovelace.
