Gloria was born in 1925 to Maggie and Jesse Clark. When James Culley came back from the European Theater after being wounded in WWII, they married. They had two daughters, Marilyn and Madeline. Jimmy was a pharmacist, and he and Gloria became the proprietors of Culley's Pharmacy in Harrison Ohio. They had 4 grandchildren: Jim, Stacy, Ricki, and Michael. Culley's Pharmacy closed in 1989. Less than a year later, Jimmy died of cancer. In 2010, Gloria moved into an assisted living facility. She lived there until her death in 2018. She was 92.

Gloria loved Big Band music and old movies. She also enjoyed Bingo.
