It is with great joy and great sadness to announce James Frederick Severance, born to Mr. and Mrs. Rollin M. Severance of Saginaw, Michigan on December 22, 1934, returned to our Heavenly Father May 26, 2011 in Rancho Mirage, CA. He graduated from Saginaw High School in 1953, and attended Central Bible Institute in Springfield, MO. Jim moved from Saginaw to California on December 26, 1955 and married Naomi Irwin in N. Hollywood, CA. Feb. 17, 1956. He served as President of Sev*Cal Tool Inc. (formerly Severance Tool Inc.) and Sevco Investments (formerly Severance Realty Corp.) He is survived by his wife Naomi; sons, Rollin and Kent; daughter JaNa Unruh; grandchildren: Leah and Samuel Severance, Stephanie and Morgan Figge, James Severance and Jeremy Barton all of Orange County, CA; brothers, Charles and William Severance of Saginaw; sisters, Catherine Neuenschwander of Ontario, CA and Marietta Terry of Issaquah, WA.
