He was born on January 4, 1873 in White County, IL, a son of the late Oliver P. and Francis, nee Cundiff, Gosnell. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Elizabeth nee Brown Gosnell in 1917 whom he married 1909.
Mr. Gosnell was a retired coal miner.
Burial in the Cundiff Cemetery, Blairsville.
