ADA BUCKMASTER Ada M. Buckmaster, 93, passed away Wednesday, March 28th, 2018. Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. and a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 7th at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 5120 NW Old Pike Road, Kansas City, MO 64118. Memorial contributions can be made to Jehovah’s Witnesses at the Kingdom Hall.

Ada Marie Little was born on February 5, 1925 in Gibson, Iowa and married John Benjamin Buckmaster on August 15th, 1948. Though she was a strong woman on her own, she became a companion and compliment to her husband in the most true and admirable sense of the word. That their love grew with each passing year and that they enjoyed being together was obvious to all who knew them. It was nearly impossible to think about one of them without thinking of the other.

Ada always showed great love, care and concern for her family and friends, was a tireless worker and a gracious host. She was at her best and happiest when her house was full of her children and grandchildren.

Ada’s other great love was for her God, Jehovah. She and John were so convinced that God’s Kingdom is the only real hope for mankind that they spent almost four decades teaching others about the Kingdom that Jesus taught us all to pray for. You can honor Ada and learn about what that Kingdom will do in the near future by visiting JW.org . Ada was preceded in death by her husband John, parents, Russel and Marie Little, her brothers Floyd, Gerald, Robert and Dwayne. She is survived by her children and their spouses: daughter Judy and Larry Self of Springfield, MO; son Greg and Val Buckmaster of Newport Beach, CA; son Derek and Jennifer Buckmaster of Kansas City, MO, son Bret and Suzanne Buckmaster of Kansas City, MO; and son Jeff and Bethel Buckmaster of Roanoke, TX; grandchildren: Ryan Fishel, Bryce Buckmaster, Paige Buckmaster, Tyler Buckmaster, Daniel Buckmaster, Brian Buckmaster, Caleb Buckmaster and Chloe Buckmaster; greatgrandchildren: Max Fishel, Millie Fishel and Isabella Buckmaster.
