Norval A Johannessohn, age 90, of Indianapolis, passed away May 13, 2018.

He was born March 29, 1928, in Borup MN, to the late Carl J and Augusta P Johannessohn.

Norval was a graduate of Borup High School, MN, and received his Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from North Dakota State University. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force as a radio operator/repairman during the Korean Conflict. He married LaDonna Symonds in 1955 and was employed as an Electrical Engineer for Naval Avionics (now known as Raytheon) for 30 years, retiring in 1986. Norval was a longtime member of Buck Creek Christian Church. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, was a master gardener and an all around "Mr. Fix It".

Norval is survived by his loving wife, LaDonna Johannessohn; daughter, Melanie Johannessohn; son-in-law, Scott Moor; granddaughters, Jenna and Kate Moor; and sister-in-law, Arlyne Symonds.

Norval was preceded in death by his daughter, Kim Moor; one sister and three brothers.
