Mary Hilda Norris, 82, of Hollywood died Dec. 17, 1992 at her home. Born in Medley's Neck on March 6,1910, she was the daughter of the late George Edgar and Emma Pauline Bowles Abell. She was the wife of the late Charles Kennedy Norris, who preceded her in death in 1983. She was the mother of Charles Francis Norris of Callaway and Mary Agnes Woodburn of Hollywod and the sister of William Dominic Abell of Leonardtown and Maria Jane Higgs of La Plata. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Prayers were said Dec. 18 at the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home in Leonardtown. Mass of Christian Burial was offered Dec. 19 at Our Lady's Catholic Church in Medley's Neck with Rev. M. Daniel Gerber, pastor of the church, as the celebrant. Interment followed in Charles Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers for Mrs. Norris were Bill Higgs, Douglas Abell, Francis Abell, James Higgs, Joseph A. Golds borough and Glen Norris. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Mary's, P.O. Box 625, Leonardtown, Md. 20650.
