Mrs. Nellie Tyler Turner, 86, Mountain Brook, Alabama, died Wednesday. Graveside service Friday 2 p.m. Forrest Cemetery. The body will lie in state 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Collier-Butler Funeral Home, Gadsden. Rideouts Valley Chapel, Homewood is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Turner is survived by a son, Homer H. Turner, Jr.; daughters, Mrs. David T. Walker and Mrs. Newman R. Nowlin. She was a lifelong resident of Gadsden and Attalla; a granddaughter of Daniel Tyler, a pioneer family who founded Gadsden. She was a member of Church of Holy Comforter.
