Born 17 Mar 1840 in Clark co KY and he died 04 Aug 1919 in Lexington KY he was the son of Richard Aubrey and Katherine Pickett. He also Served in CSA during the civil war under Gen. John Hunt Morgan (Morgan's Raiders) 2nd KY CAV
He was one of the original Lexington Rifles who were inducted into Confederate service with Morgan and Duke on the steps of the Green River Baptist Church in Woodsonville on October 27, 1861.
