Elton was born on May 30, 1931 in Lena, WI, son of the late Andrew and Lucille (Kershek) Kriescher. He served in the United States Army. On October 5, 1957 he married the former Janet Shibley at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Green Bay. Elton was employed for 35 years as a tool and die maker with Mirro Aluminum retiring in 2003. He was a member of The Third Order of St. Francis.
Elton was a most gentle and loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He loved being around people, telling his jokes and sharing his deep love of his faith. Elton loved playing cards, taking walks in the woods and around his house, checking on all his beautiful trees he planted throughout the years. He enjoyed fishing, biking and eating out at the area restaurants.
Survivors include his wife: Janet Kriescher, Two Rivers; his children: Mark Kriescher, Stratford, Kathy (Bruce) Czarnecki, Hurley, Becky Kriescher, Two Rivers; four grandchildren: Brittany and Alex Czarnecki, Blake and Kaily Schermetzler; one brother: Eugene Kriescher, Tisch Mills; two sisters-in-law: Barbara (Ronnie) VanStratten, Shiocton, Jackie Kriescher, Green Bay. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was also preceded in death by one sister: Beatrice (Wencil) Konop; one brother: Donald (Carol) Kriescher; and four sisters-in-law: Judy Kriescher, Lonnie Klatt, Mary Payne and Carol Dresang.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Tom Reynebeau with burial at Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth, at a later date.
The family will greet relatives on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
