Mrs. Ray Clinger died at the home of her mother, Mrs. Nettie Walter, seven miles north of town, Monday evening at 8:45 o'clock. Death was due to tuberculosis with which she had been bedfast for the past seven weeks.
Mrs. Clinger, whose maiden name was Estella Walter, was the daughter of George and Nettie Walter, the father having preceded her in death seven years ago. She was aged about twenty-three years. About four years ago she was united in marriage to Ray Clinger, who survives. To this union were born two children, Glenn, aged three years, and Doris, aged two years. Besides her husband, children and mother, Mrs. Clinger also leaves the following brothers and sisters, John Walter, of McConnellsville; Mrs. Mary Cantleberry of Carey; Roy, Dora, Mabel, Lloyd, Russel, Stanley and May Walter, all at home. A brother, Hobart Walter, died a few years ago.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the home and at 2 o'clock at the Evangelical church in Carey, conducted by Rev. I. H. Amore. Burial was made in Spring Grove cemetery at Carey.
