Mrs. Lavina Blair Lyle died at her residence, 53 1st St., last night after a short illness. Mrs. Lyle was a member of the First Methodist Church and was a musician for the Ionic Chapter of the Eastern Star. Survivors include her husband, Robert C. Lyle, and a niece, Mrs. Milo Matteson of Lansingburg. The funeral will be held from the residence Thursday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Joel Shippey, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be Waterford Rural cemetery.
