He had been employed by Western Union for over 40 years He was a member of St. Dominick's Church in Baltimore. He was a member of the Woodpoint Rod and Gun Club.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Rose Wheatley, Baltimore; and Mrs. Sue Ella Donaher, Salisburg; two sons, Jack Lochbaum, Glen Burnie; and Richard Lochbaum, Buffalo, NY; and sisters and brothers in the Gettysburg area.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Dominick's Church in Baltimore. Burial was in Cedar Lawn Cemetery.
