Obituary: Services will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. in the Sanford Funeral Home, 1175 Robinson St., Oroville, for Clarence G. Schubert, who died this morning in Santa Cruz. Interment will be in the family plot in Oroville Cemetery. Schubert was born in La Porte and was a 35-years veteran of the United States Postal Service. He retired from the Oroville Post Office in 1957 and had resided in Santa Cruz for the past 10 years. Survivors include his wife, Mae W. Schubert of 522 Laurent St., and a foster sister, Mrs. Alpha Catchings of Sacramento. Also surviving are a number of other relatives living in California.
