Fernando B. Silva, 70, of Warwick, died August 15, 2015. Born in Esproes , Portugal , he was a son of the late Tomaz B. and Alice (Almeida) Silva.

Mr. Silva was the owner of the former Silva's Auto Sales until his retirement.

He was an Army veteran of the VietNam War era. He later enlisted in the US Naval Reserve and also served in the Army National Guard.

He is survived by his sons Kenneth T. Silva and his wife Rebecca of Cumberland and Steven J. Silva of Cumberland; brothers Antonio Silva of San Diego, CA and Fausto Silva of Warwick; sisters Clotilde Silva of Argentina, Amelia Costa of Bristol and Dolly Packard of Huntingburg, IN.; and his grandson Nicholas Silva. He was the brother of the late Aida Henao and the ex-husband of Suzanne Silva.

A Prayer Service will be celebrated by Rev. Barbara DaCosta at 10:30 am on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave. , Lincoln . Burial with Military Honors will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery , Curran Rd. , Cumberland .
