CLARENCE H. BABKIRK, 78, of 208 Hutchinson Ave., died Saturday morning at Community Hospital after a short illness.
Mr. Babkirk was born in Goshen, New Brunswick, Canada, and lived in Syracuse 40 years. He was a carpenter employed by the Crucible Steel Co., retiring seven years ago.
Surviving are two son and two daughters in New Brunswick; eight grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Nina Berry of New Brunswick.
Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Bordynski Funeral Home, 1105 W. Genesee St., the Rev. Amos Phipps officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and noon to 2 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
