Rose E. Glidden, 88, of Prairie Village, passed away March 24th at St. Luke's Hospital. Mrs. Glidden was a lifelong area resident and was a member of Cure of Ars Catholic Church. She was survived by three sons, Richard Glidden of Naperville, Illinois, Robert Glidden of Akron, Ohio, and James Glidden of Dayton, Ohio; two daughters, Ruth Campbell of Homestead, Florida, and Carol Glidden of Prairie Village; two sisters, Berniece Formella of Kansas City and Pauline McCullough of Warsaw, Missouri.; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday at McGilley State Line Chapel. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel. Entombment was in the Mount Olivet Cemetery mausoleum in Raytown. The family requested no flowers and suggested contributions to the St. Luke's Hospital Fund.
