A longtime Vinton resident, she resided at the Keystone Care Center in Keystone the past 4 1/2 years.
She was born November 17, 1917 to Mr. and Mrs. Richard Fish and married R.D. Rouse, December 22, 1936 at Vinton.
He preceded his wife in death in 1966. Mrs. Rouse devoted her life to her large family of nine children.
She is survived by two sons, Raymond and fiancee, Rose Chesmore and Roger Rouse and fiancee, Teresa Wegmuller, both of Vinton; six daughters, Doris [Mrs. Howard] Kennedy of Pauls Valley, OK; Linda [Mrs. Joe] Bray of Hemingway, SC; Diana of Centerville, IA; Rose [Mrs. John] Lancos of Fayetteville, AR; LaDonna [Mrs. Brian] Fairbanks, and Erma Jones, all of Vinton; 18 grandchildren
and several great and great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Warren Rouse, and two brothers.
Interment will be held at Urbana Cemetery in Urbana, Iowa.
