He was born on, June 8, 1936 in Winchester, MA, to the late William Robert Kelloway, Jr. and Margaret Pansy Davis. He was preceded in death by three younger brothers, Phillip, Donald and Peter. In his youth, he spent the summers at the family cottage in Cape Cod. It was memories of this time in his life that nurtured William's love of the sea and old maritime New England possessions.
He grew up in Easton, MA and graduated from Oliver Ames High School in 1955. That same year, he married his high school sweetheart, Judith A. Christensen. They lived with their family in Massachusetts for several years before relocating permanently to New Hampshire in the mid 1960's.
He was a devoted member of the Nazarene Church and Tabernacle Baptist Church where he became a Deacon. He was committed to the study of the word of God; in which, he shared with everyone. He enjoyed watching the Red Sox and the Patriots, as well as a good John Wayne or WWII movie. He enjoyed collecting books and the hunt for that special treasure or antique.
William (Bob) worked as a technical supervisor for Nashua Corporation in Merrimack, NH until his retirement in 1994. It was at this time, he became the primary caregiver to his wife who has lived with Multiple Sclerosis for the past 42 years. He became a meticulous advocate in her care.
He is survived by his wife Judith and six children: William R. Kelloway, IV of Townsend, MA, Faith M. Codman of Stoddard, Joel K. Kelloway of Pembroke, David M. Kelloway of Milford, Richard A. Kelloway of West Stewartstown, and Charity L. Kelloway of Nashua. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
SERVICES: The family will receive friends and others for a viewing from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at the DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, One Lock St., Nashua. Following cremation his Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 15, 2018 at the Davis Funeral Home. Pasto Michael Ratton will officiate. Interment prayers and burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Nashua with Pastor Michael Ratton officiating. In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a memorial donation the National Multiple Sclerosis Society of Greater New England.
