Samuel L. Barton, 75, of Columbus, a former Zanesville realtor, died unexpectedly Monday at White Cross Hospital shortly after he apparently suffered a heart attack.
A native of Zanesville, Mr. Barton was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John E. Barton. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and had moved to Columbus in 1933.
Survivors include his wife, Bessie B. (Peyton) Barton, a son John E. of Columbus, a daughter, Mrs. Geraldine Rough of Lancaster, California and 9 grandchildren.
Calling hours held at the Carroll Weir North Chapel, 4221 North High St., Columbus, Feb. 8 with services at 10:30 Feb. 9. Burial in Union Cemetery, Columbus
