Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Columbkille's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Gabriel Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Key West, Iowa. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, where there will be a wake service at 4 p.m.
She was born on March 25, 1931, in Dubuque, daughter of Mary Rooney.
She married Arthur Boardman on Nov. 28, 1952, at St. Columbkille's Catholic Church.
She worked at Northwestern Bell Co. and later at the Dubuque Packing Co. until she retired to become a full-time mom. She also was a Girl Scout leader for many years.
Surviving are her husband, Art; three daughters, Patricia M., of Anaheim, Calif., and twin daughters, Karen, of Dubuque, and Kristine, of Folsom, Calif.; a son, Arthur, of Dubuque; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
