Emma Adeline George was the youngest daughter of Stephen Ellsworth and Lena Avella (McCombs) George. She grew up with 3 brothers and 4 sisters and lived most of her life in Des Moines, Iowa.
She married George William Cully on June 10, 1933. George was born February 6, 1913, the son of Frank and Mary (Hunt) Cully. They later divorced.
She married Vance Gillmore Bean before 1940. He was born October 31, 1911, the son of Glenn A. and Flossie (Fagan) Bean of Dallas, Marion County, Iowa. Vance passed away on June 20, 1963.
Emma died in May of 1985, in West Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa. Besides her four children she was survived by 12 grand children and two great-grand children. The remains were cremated.
