Wife of Burton C. Franklin, president of the Couch-Uthe Company, Mrs. Franklin formerly resided on Overbrook road here but has lived for some time in the Lake Shore Hotel, Lakewood.
In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary Brenneman, and two sons, Theodore C. and Richard J., all of Elyria; two brothers, Sylvester and Stanley Calvird of Detroit, and five grandchildren. A brother, Meredith, preceded her in death.
Born September 17, 1903, Mrs. Franklin lived in Elyria for approximately 20 years and was a member of Elyria Country Club.
Friends may call at the Harold Dicken Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. from the funeral home with Rev. G. Russell Hargate, rector of St. Andrews Episcopal Church, officiating and burial to be made in Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
