Manitowoc - Thomas E. Ducat, age 71, of Manitowoc, died early Monday morning, June 18, 2018 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center of Manitowoc.

Tom was born on July 11, 1946 in Manitowoc, son of the late Emil and Emilie (Kowalski) Ducat. He worked for Holiday House from 1962 until the present time. Tom enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics and playing botche ball, basketball and bowling. He loved playing with Lego's and watching the Green Bay Packer football games.

Survivors include his three sisters and three brothers-in-law: Frances DeGrand, Manitowoc; Carolyn (Anthony) Boldt, Manitowoc; Patricia (Delmar) Ruether, Mishicot; Raymond Kunesh, Manitowoc; one brother and three sisters-in-law: Richard (Victoria) Ducat, Mishicot; Jean Ducat, Sheboygan, Peggy Ducat, Two Rivers, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Emil and Emilie Ducat; three brothers and one sister-in-law: Ronald (Sylvia) Ducat; Emil Ducat Jr.; Raymond Ducat; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Betty Jane Kunesh; Shirley Kuik; Garfield DeGrand; one nephew: Terry Allen Ducat.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State Street, Manitowoc. Deacon Mark Knipp will officiate with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 noon.
