Betty Lou Davis Moore Brazeale, 79 of Stephens died Saturday, April 21, 2007 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born January 19, 1928 in Stephens, the daughter of Earl and Marguarite Davis. Betty Lou, known to family and friends as "Lou", was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stephens. She was a loving homemaker who greeted everyone she met with a smile and something good to eat. Lou was especially famous for her cinnamon rolls, fudge and divinity.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Lou is survived by her husband, Pete Brazeale, a son, David Moore and his wife, Kathy of Bethany, OK; three daughters, Kelly Moore of Stephens, Debbie Reid and her husband, Rick of Greenbrier, and Donna Brazeale of Little Rock; four grandchildren, Ran Moore, Kellen Moore, Amber Reid, Chad Reid and wife, Katie; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Rita Waller of Stephens; a brother, Jack Davis of Gassville; numerous nieces and nephews; and a multitude of friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at the Stephens First Baptist Church with burial in Stephens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
