Elmer Safford, 52, for many years associated with Bolton Auto Co. here, and later with his brother, the late Joseph Safford, the owner of the same firm, died Friday [Feb 11] at his Brady Township Home. He was a resident of Saginaw from 1914 until last Summer, when he retired. He was a veteran of World War I. He leaves his wife, the former Winifred Westbrook; three children, Mrs. Robert Meyers [Myers] and Thomas W. Safford of Saginaw and Miss Jane Safford of Henderson; one sister, Mrs. J.C. Huntley of Brant. The funeral will take place Monday afternoon.
