Peter Cole, Jr. 1943 ~ 2007 EAGLE MOUNTAIN - Neal "Pete" Cole Jr., 63, passed unexpectedly into our loving Father's arms Saturday, April 21, 2007. He has gone to join his mother and son Sean. Pete was born November 25, 1943 to Ada May Lyon and Neal Peter Cole Sr. He grew up in California and lived a few years in Texas where he attended college and joined the Army. Pete served in Vietnam as a medic and was a California Highway Patrolman for 35 years. He was a member of the Utah Peace Officers Association and enjoyed his time working with the Utah Army National Guard, at Securitas and as a weekend deputy constable (always a "cop" at heart). Pete graduated from CSUSB with honors, was finishing his teaching credentials and was looking forward to teaching in August. Left behind to finish their journeys are his loving wife Loreen and their combined family, Terry (Altman), Andrew, Seth, Emily, Kevin, Lori (Agler), Heather (Mayhew) and Jonathon (Shibuya) and his father Neal Sr. Pete was also "grandpa" to many neighborhood children whom he loved dearly He was loved and will be missed by many. Services will be held at the LDS Church at 7746 N. Sparrow Hawk Way in Eagle Mountain Thursday, April 26 at 1:00 p.m. There will be a viewing Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Wing Mortuary, 118 E. Main, Lehi and Thursday at the church at 11:30 a.m. Interment at the Utah State Veterans Cemetery at 17111 Camp Williams Road in Bluffdale with military honors by the Utah National Guard.
