Doreen Wells, 91, of Logan Utah passed away Monday, June 18, in Logan, Utah.
Doreen was born August 8, 1926, in Bern, Idaho, the daughter of Edwin L. and Vera Humpherys Alleman. She was the 2nd of 6 children. She was raised in Bern Idaho and graduated from Montpelier High School and went on to get her RN through the Cadet Nursing Program at LDS Hospital in Idaho Falls Idaho. Afterwards she received her Pediatric Nursing training in Springfeild Illinois. Doreen married Delvan D. Hibbert in March 1950, they were late divorced. She later married Willis R, Wells who preceded her in death in 1990.
Doreen had 7 children, whom she sacrificed greatly for, and devoted her life to her family. She has 34 grandchildren and 64 great-grandchildren. Doreen was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many calling throughout her life. She loved attending and serving in the temple. She also loved reading, gardening, handiwork and sewing and created many amazing and beautiful knitted sweaters, afghans, needlepoint, rugs and quilts.
Doreen worked for 23 yrs as pediatric night nurse at Bannock Memorial Hospital in Pocatello, ID, After retiring she enjoyed traveling, especially on numerous Temple excursin tours around the U.S.
She is survived by her children: Eric Hibbert, Kim (Dawn) Hibbert, Sherry (Alan) Firth, Tammy (Kent) Beardall, Diane(Parke) Adamson, Dawn (John) Egbert Toenjes, Gwen (Tim) Stronks. Sisters Roma Robison, Arlene Alleman, and Karolyn Alleman.
A viewing will be held at Allen Mortuary of North Logan, 420 E 1800 N, North Logan Utah June 26th at 10:00 a.m. Funeral services to follow at 11:00 at Allen Mortuary of North Logan. A special thank you for the wonderful loving care and friendship provided by Legacy House of Logan.

Doreen was born on Sunday, 8 August 1926 in Bern, Idaho to Edwin L. and Vera (Humpherys) Alleman. She was the second of their six children, raised in Bern and graduated from Montpelier High School. She also loved reading, gardening, handiwork and sewing and created many amazing and beautiful knitted sweaters, afghans, needlepoint, rugs and quilts.

Doreen worked for 23yrs as pediatric night nurse at Bannock Memorial Hospital in Pocatello, Id, After retiring she enjoyed traveling, especially on numerous Temple excursin tours around the US.

Doreen had seven children, for whom she sacrificed greatly and devoted her life. They are left to cherish her memory, along with thirty-four grandchildren and sixty-four great-grandchildren. Her children are: Eric Hibbert, Kim (Dawn) Hibbert, Sherry (Alan) Firth, Tammy (Kent) Beardall, Diane (Parke) Adamson, Dawn (John) Egbert Toenjes; and Gwen (Tim) Stronks. Also surviving Doreen are her sisters, Roma Robison, Arlene Alleman and Karolyn Alleman.

A viewing will be held at 10 A.M., Tuesday, 26 June 2018, at the Allen Mortuary, 420 East 1800 North, North Logan followed by funeral services at 11 A.M. and interment.
