Martha Riggs died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Jacob Webber three miles south west of Quapaw at 8:15 p.m. July 23, 1913.
Mrs. Martha Riggs funeral services were held Friday July 25 at Claremore, Okla., and remains were laid to rest in the Claremore Cemetery.
Mrs. Riggs was born in Madison Co. Ark. April 21, 1837 was married to Joseph S. Riggs Nov. 3, 1878 at Sebastian Co. Ark. She leaves five children to mourn her death four daughters and one son. They have the sympathy of the community in their sad bereavement.
