He was born in Forestville and resided in Bristol all his life.
He is survived by his wife, Marion Simpson Crumb; a son, Wallace Crumb of Farmington; three daughters, Elizabeth Spring of Harwinton, and Kimberly Sgro and Alyson Ayotte, both of Bristol; a stepson, Jay Giordano of Bristol; a stepdaughter, Lisann Giordano of Florence, Mass.; and a sister, Marilyn Duhaime of Westerly, R.I.
Service was held at St. John's Episcopal Church, Bristol.
Burial followed in Forestville Cemetery.
The Funk Funeral Home, Bristol, was in charge of the arrangements.
