WILLIAMS, Carlis Everette “Pat” – Of Linden, age 89, died Friday, June 22, 2018 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to North Baptist Church, 4004 Lennon Road, Flint, MI 48507.
Visitation 2-7 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Pat was born in Buffordsville, Missouri on October 25, 1928, the son of Minnie and Joe Williams.
He married Doris Jean Lee on June 10, 1950.
He was a devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Pat was a quiet man, who expressed himself through gardening and working with wood. The way he lived his life was an inspiration and good example for all who knew him.
Pat retired from General Motors Truck and Bus, after 37 years of service.
Surviving are devoted wife, Doris Jean of Linden;
3 children, Carla (Ray) Caraway of Flint, Keith (Theresa) Williams of Ludington, Sandra (Scott) Lundeen of Annandale, NJ;
7 grandchildren, Marcus (Holly) Fields, Meagan (Joseph) Borschke, Carly (Renard) Brown, Ross (Darian) Williams, Graham, Chad and Kyle Lundeen and 6 great-grandchildren.
