Mrs. Alvey (Verdie) Shotts, 83, died yesterday in the Altenheim Community retirement home, where she lived.
A native of Jamestown, Tenn., Mrs. Shotts lived here 34 years. She was a member of Lynhurst Baptist Church and Rebekah Lodge 227.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Osteomyelitis Society.
Services will be in G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home.
Survivors include daughters, Wanda Malling and Gail Lucas, sons, Larry, Floyd, Paul and Jimmy Shotts.
