age 33, of Flint, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Monday, July 2, 2018 with a 10:00am family hour at Christian Love Faith Center, 3202 Flushing Rd., Flint, MI 48504. Pastor Timothy Hicks officiating. Calling hours are 1:00pm - 7:00pm Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Sheldon T. Banks Funeral Chapel, 3021 S. Dort Hwy., Flint, MI 48507. The final resting place for Mr. Moore will be Sunset Hills Association, Flint, MI.

Antijuan De’Shon Moore was born March 7, 1985 in Flint, Michigan the son of Jimmie Shelby and Tywana Davis (biological father) Berry Chestnut. Mr. Antijuan Tweezy” Moore, was a very intelligent student and was a 2003 graduate of Flint Northern High School. During his early adulthood he served as a deacon of New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church. He attended Mott Community College and Baker College. He had multiple employers with the most recent being ZF Lemforder Factory. Antijuan enjoyed playing basketball, which included being part of The Flint Northern Vikings. He also enjoyed card games, cooking as "Chef Tweezy”, and traveling with his wife and children.

He displayed his memories in the making with the world to see and shared his love of his family through social media sites. We can’t forget his meticulous choice of style and dress appeal with his favorite being, “Tommy Hilfiger”. If your spirits were down he would say words that would bring a smile to your face and lift your spirits with a warm heart. He was very family oriented, and wanted all of his loved ones to be spiritual and involved in church.

Mr. Moore was preceded in death by: great-grandparents, George and Mable Davis, Sr., Roy and Ollie Moore, Sr.; grandparents, Brenda Moore, JoAnne Chestnut, Elder Roy Moore, Jr., and Freddy; brother, Robert Jermaine Graham; special friends, Marcus “Tex” Holbrook, Quinnel “Q” Banks and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family would like to express special thanks to: Flint Northern Class of 2003, Christian Love Faith Center, Restoration Bethel Ministries and all who showed many acts of kindness and support to our family during this trying time.

Man shot to death while trying to break up fight

FLINT, MI -- A 33-year-old man was shot to death while attempting to break up a fight early Saturday morning in Flint. Flint officers and Michigan State Police troopers responded around 1 a.m. Saturday, June 23 to the 1100 block of North Chevrolet Avenue for a reporter of a shooting.

Antijuan Deshon Moore was trying to break up a fight between a female suspect and group of women when he was shot. He was transported to Hurley Medical Center and later pronounced dead. A 22-year-old woman also sustained a gunshot wound during the incident and transported to the hospital. Her injuries are described as non-life threatening, police said.

The Flint Major Crimes Unit, consisting of Michigan State Police and Flint police detectives, is investigating the double shooting. No suspect is in custody at this time.
