Dylan Andrew Dunnihoo, 39 of Lee's Summit, MO passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the Kansas City Hospice House. Dylan was born March 16, 1979 in Goldsboro, NC to Bruce and Diana (Hensley) Dunnihoo.
He was a child of a military family and lived in several areas and graduated from Blue Springs South High School in 1997 and later from DeVry University with a bachelor's degree.
He had worked as produce manager for Price Chopper until he developed health issues.
He enjoyed listening to music and sports, especially baseball and hockey.
He was a member of the E. 39th St. Church of Christ.
Survivors include his loving wife, Heather Dunnihoo of the home; two cats, Boo and Salem; his parents, Bruce and Diana Dunnihoo of Blue Springs, MO; a sister, Melinda Briscoe and husband (Rob) of Lebanon, MO; mother and father-in-law, Jared and Polly Thomson of Grain Valley, MO; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jared and Marie Thomson; and Polly and Matthias Smith and a niece, Andrea Briscoe.
Cremation is planned with a memorial service to be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 29, 2018 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or to the Kansas City Hospice House.
