Mr. Wilson was an active man all his life, at one time being in the draying and hauling business in Middletown which he was forced to give up because of his health. For years he carried on the cigar and tobacco business in connection with the newspaper, stationary and fancy articles, and was well known to everyone for miles around.
He married Lovisa Peterson, March 31, 1851 in Bridgetown, N.J.. Lovisa was the daughter of Benoni Peterson, and Elizabeth Cobb. Their children were:
