A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 11, in Holman's Funeral Service for Louise H. Mallory, who died April 1, 1996, at age 94.
Mrs. Mallory was born Aug. 15, 1901, in Germany. Her maiden name was Harms. She moved to the United States when she was 11, settling on a homestead near Terrebonne. She moved to Portland in the 1930s and built and operated the Onion Ring Restaurant on Northwest St. Helens Road in the 1950s. She married Theodore in the early 1920s. He died in 1976.
Survivors include her sister, Eileen Kelly of Portland; friend, Robert Taylor of Portland; and four grandchildren.
Disposition was by cremation. The family suggests remembrances to a local charity in support of abused children.
