Services for ANDREW S. CARRUTHERS, 75, of 206 W. Corning Ave., who died Thursday night at Veterans Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Greenleaf Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners.

Mr. Carruthers was a rural mail carrier in the Onondaga Hill area 40 years, retiring 10 years ago. A veteran of World War I and the Mexican border conflict, he lived in the Syracuse most of his life.

He was a member of the National Assn. of Retired Civil Employes, American Legion Post ??, Sea and Field Lodge 2-983 Onondaga Hill Masonic Club and the National Rural Letter Carriers Assn.

Survivors include a son, Ellis Mead Carruthers, two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Harrison of LaFayette and Mrs. Millie C. Wood; two sisters, Mrs. Adeline Hunt and Mrs. Wilfred Dence; a brother, Angus Carruthers of Onondaga Hill, and seven grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home, 503 W. Onondaga St. from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.

Sea and Field Lodge will conduct Masonic services at 8 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
