Shirley Mae Robnett Young, 90, of Napa, passed away peacefully at home March 4, 2013.
Born October 30, 1922 in Leadville, Colo., she was the daughter of the late William and Sue Warlick Robnett. In her early life she served as a key punch operator at Mare Island Naval Shipyard and later worked for the Napa County Auditor’s Office.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, MacCrea Martin Young, in 1970, and by four brothers, Monty, Harold “Dusty,” Joe and Bill Robnett.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Yohner of Napa, Calif. and Debra “Debby” Mills of Sacramento, Calif.; grandchildren, Mike (Poppy), Patrick (Mandy), Matthew (Kim), and Sara (Robert); and two great-granddaughters, Mike’s daughters Kayla and Emma.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2013, at the Rockville Cemetery, 4219 Suisun Valley Road in Fairfield.
