Committal and Military Service: Saturday, July 2nd, 10:30 a.m. at Calverton National Cemetery.

Richard J. Roventini, 65, a 43-year resident of Patchogue, LI, died on Tuesday, June 28, 2016, after a long courageous battle. Raised in Sayville, Richard graduated from Sayville High School before serving in the US Army in Korea during the Vietnam War. Mr. Roventini worked as a diesel mechanic for more than 35 years with Hub Truck Rental in Farmingdale.

Mr. Roventini is survived by his wife, Kim, his two children, Ronald and his wife Anna of Shirley and Dorothy Roventini and her husband Sean Coffey of Oakdale, his four grandchildren, Ava, Jayson, Neela and Aniya, his sister, Joann Hertlein, brother, Joseph, as well as his nieces, Donna, Gina and Laura, and his nephew, David.
