Wiliam Brinkley Wilson was the son of William W. and Lovisa Peterson Wilson. He was born on Race Street in Philadelphia, next door to the arsenal where his father was caretaker. In 1890 he moved to Butler, Pa. where he engaged in the hardward buisness before moving to Merca, Pa. He was a tin smith by trade, and a member of the Methodist church.
