Henry Louis King was born Aug 1840 in Hesse-Darmstadt, Germany to Andrew King and Elisabeth Hasenauer. He died 25 Oct 1916 in Glenville, Schenectady, New York.There is a Henry King, age 21, farmer, born N.Y. listed on page 23 of the October 6, 1860 census of Rotterdam, Schenectady, New York census. This is a possibility of being the right Henry although there are discrepancies.

DEATH NOTICE: Schenectady Union Star, Thursday, October 26, 1916 KING - At Glenville, Wednesday, October 25, 1916, Henry King, aged 76 years.Funeral Saturday morning at 8:45 o'clock from the family residence, thence to St. Joseph's Church, Scotia, where a requiem mass will be celebrated, 9:30 o'clock. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, State Street.The Holy Name Society of St. Joseph's Church, Scotia, Post Horsfall, No. 90, G. A. R., and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT - County of Schenectady, Volume S, Pg. 431-3 I, Henry L. King, residing in the Town of Glenville in the County of Schenectady and State of New York, do make, publish and declare this instrument to be my last will and testament.First. I order and direct that all my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses be paid by my Executor hereinafter named as soon after my decease as possible.Second. I give, devise and bequeath unto my son Henry J. King Jr., all my estate both real and personal of every name, kind and description and wheresoever situated of which I may die seized or possessed or to which I may be entitled at the time of my decease, provided however, and upon the express conditon, that he pay the following legacies, viz: To my daughter Elizabeth King, one hundred dollars.To my daughter Annie King, one hundred dollars.To my daughter Alida King, one hundred dollars.To my daughter Mary Crutchmer, one hundred dollars.To my daughter Catherine Vincen, Fifty dollars.To my daughter Margaret Merchant, Twenty-five dollars.To my son John King, Five dollars.To my son Andrew King, Ten dollars.To my son Barney King, Ten dollars.And provided further and upon the express condition, that my said son Henry J. King, Jr., shall give his mother Barbara King a home with him, and provide and take care of her in a comfortable and suitable manner, for and during the term of her natural life.Lastly: I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my said son Henry J. King, Jr., to be the sole Executor of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time made, and I hereby will and direct that the payment of the aforesaid several legacies and the provision made herein for my wife Barbara King, shall be in no wise a lien or charge upon my real property herein devised.In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name this Ninth day of November, in the year nineteen hundred and Fifteen.
