She was a daughter of the late Harvey and Margaret Geer Haught.
Clara was a loving homemaker and a member of the Chester First Church of the Nazarene, and she was a graduate of the Toronto High School. From an early age, she was a great lover of animals and was infamous for taking in strays that no one else wanted. Her husband of 59 ½ years, Jack Herrin preceded her in death just as did her son, Ralph Herrin; her brother, Bert Haught; her sister-in-law, Pauletta Haught, and daughter-in-law Feralyn Herrin.
Left to cherish her memories is her daughter, Beth Parson and her husband, Cecil of East Liverpool, OH; her sons, James Herrin of Wheeling W.V,, and William Herrin and his wife Lisa of Santa Rosa Beach, FL.; her brother, Edwin Haught of Ft. Myers, FL; and her ten grandchildren, Lori Miller, Timothy Garner, Sarah (Garner) Goodwin, Eric Herrin, Bradley Herrin, Megan Sorley, Maranda Stepp, Mallory Herrin, Will Herrin, and Danielle Windham.
