FULLERTON - Harold P. Arnold, 71, of Fullerton, died unexpectedly Saturday, August 17. Graveside services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Westlawn Cemetery at Grand Island with the Rev. Bernard Nelson officiating....Palmer's Funeral Home of Fullerton is in charge of arrangements...

Mr. Arnold was born April 26, 1914, at Fairbury, the son of William and Alta Gano Arnold. During World War II he served in the U.S. Army. In 1939 he married Evelyn Bray in Iowa. After the war they lived in Fresno, Calif., for 30 years where he was a ranch foreman for the Houghton Corp. They returned to Nebraska in 1972 and he worked for a time for the Cornhusker Army Ammunition Plant in Grand Island and later for the Fullerton Co-Op, retiring about four years ago. He was a member of the Eagles Aerie 372 in Grand Island.

Survivors include his wife; a son, John, in Florida; two daughters, Mrs. Delbert (Sherilyn) Till of Sacramento, Calif., and Mrs. Dan (Cynthia) Newman of Columbus, 11 grandchildren, a brother and three sisters.
