Helen was a member of Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church. She enjoyed playing Bingo. Her family was her greatest joy and her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Edwin Markiewicz, a sister Mary Ann Lapinsky and three brothers, Chester and Joseph Rydelski both killed during World War II and Walter Rydelski.
She is survived by her a son Joseph E. Markiewicz and his wife Joan, a sister Dorothy Rydelski of Harborcreek Township, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
