Ernest J. Boileau, 65, of 1638 Beech St., died unexpectedly Saturday at 1:30 p.m. while working in his yard.

He was born in Bay City, Mich., on June 14, 1896, attended grade and high school in Ashland, and for 22 years was in business in Ironwood, Mich., coming to Oshkosh a year ago. He was a retired salesman. Mr. Boileau was a member of St Peter Catholic Church.

Surviving are his wife, Clara, to whom he was married in 1936 in Hot Springs, Ark.; one sister, Mrs. David VonBuren, Oshkosh; nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were two brothers and one sister.

Services will be held Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. at Fiss & Bills Funeral Home and 9 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church, with the Rev. F. M. McKeough officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from Tuesday at 2 p.m. until the hour of services. The rosary will be recited Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
