PATRICIA MORISON BROOKS, 81, of Memphis, died April 24. She was an actress, author, docent, sister, aunt, wife, stepmother, bookseller, traveler and lover of life and art. After Bob Hope died, she took a line from "Thanks For the Memory" and turned it into, "I may have been a headache, but I never was a bore." She was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Cathedral, Dixon Gallery and Memphis Brooks Museum of Art. Graveside services at 10 am on May 12 at Elmwood where her husband Hamilton Brooks is buried. Survivors are her brother James Morison of Los Angeles, cousins Mrs. Ames Saunders of Memphis, Mrs. Pierce Powers of St. Louis, Robert Brabant of Lille, France and Hylton Neill of Seattle and sister-in- law Letitia Proctor of Memphis and their families.
