Isbell of Albertville, physician and surgeon, who has built a large and substanial practice here. Dr. Isbell was born near Martling in Marshall County in 1883. He attended the public schools of the county and in 1900 graduated from Fort Payne High School. He then entered the Chattanooga Medical College and after two years there he took up his medical studies in the Birmingham Medical College, from which he graduated in 1912. He began his practice of medicine at Whiton, in DeKalb County and remained there until 1924, when he moved to Albertville. His offices are located in the King Hotel Building on Main Street. He is a member of the Marshall County, Alabama State and Southern Medical Associations and a Fellow of the American Medical Association. Dr. Isbell is a Republican in politics, a member of the Missionary Baptist Church, is a past master of Whiton Lodge No. 658, F&AM, now a member of the Albertville Lodge No. 430 and a member of the Albertville Civitan Club. On February 5, 1905, Dr. Isbell married at Martling, Alabama, Miss Cora Harris..."

Physician; delegate to Republican National Convention from Alabama, 1940 (alternate), 1948 (alternate), 1952. Died in Albertville, Marshall County, Ala., January 25, 1964.
