Mrs. Joan Carol Cagley-Knight, 68, a resident of Cape Coral, died Friday January 12, 2007 at Hope Hospice in Cape Coral.
Joan was a native of Waterloo, Iowa coming to Fort Myers in 1986.
She was an author and wrote two books on Alzheimer's. She was a Registered Nurse Practitioner and Supervisor for the State of Florida in the Agency for Health Care Administration.
She is survived by her husband, James Knight, Cape Coral, daughter, Jennifer Johnson, Mesa, AZ; step-sons, Eric Knight, California, Maryland, Steven Knight, Breezy Point, MN, Daniel Knight, Decorah, IA.; mother, Alice E. Madsen; N. Fort Myers; Twin Sister, Judy Schmitt, Nokomis, FL; brother, James R. Cagley, Rockville, MD; seven grandchildren.
Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Cagley; daughter, Donna Jo Milne.
